While driving just outside Boston recently, I took this photo. Yes, while driving….but I didn’t want to miss this scene. As pictured, a man is digging through a Planet Aid clothes donation box for a new outfit. Obviously, the photo quality isn’t good — I took it with my iPhone while driving about 40 mph. But the message hit me like a speeding car – I’m so lucky to have the life I do. I love my life!
Reading about hurricane Matthew’s destruction in Haiti in today’s Miami Herald compelled me to write this post.
Unfortunately, it takes a natural disaster or this fleeting scene while driving to make me remember what is important in life. Do you agree?
