One of the perks of being a portrait photographer is that I get asked to photograph celebrities and on Monday I was asked to photograph an exceptional person. Cesar Millan a.k.a The Dog Whisperer was in Miami on a promotional tour of his new TV series “El Lider de la Manada” (The leader of the pack) to be aired on NatGeo Mundo and was filmed in Spain. As part of his promotional tour he gave a presentation at the 101/Exhibit gallery in Miami as a benefit for the Pets’ Trust which is a non-profit organization with the goal of reducing the number of stray cats and dogs in Miami-Dade county and has an initiative #240 on the ballot on November 6th. Cesar generously agreed to appear at their fundraiser to show his support and the Pets’ Trust asked me to photograph him.
Even though I only had about 10 minutes with Cesar, I quickly realized that he is exactly the same person as you see in his TV shows: passionate about his work, loves people and dogs equally, is generous with his time and displays his famously characteristic “calm assertive” demeanor at all times. In one of the photos you’ll see him demonstrating what “calm assertive” looks like.
I LOVE my job! 🙂

Have you seen Cesar’s TV show? Have you heard of the Pets’ Trust?
I’m hired to photograph people and events: executive headshots, magazine portraiture, acting & modeling photos, family portraits, online dating profile photos, weddings, mitzvahs, quinces, etc. in Southern Florida, in Maine (whenever I’m back there visiting) and I travel often to photo shoots. I’ve had private portrait sessions with many prominent people which YOU CAN VIEW HERE.
